Vindesine API is an antineoplastic agent and belongs to the vinca alkaloids class of chemotherapy drugs. It is primarily used in the treatment of various cancers, including leukemias, lymphomas, and solid tumors.
Vindesine works by inhibiting microtubule dynamics, which are essential for cell division. Its mechanism involves the following steps:

  • Inhibition of Microtubule Polymerization;
  • Cell Cycle Arrest, that ultimately leads to cell death;
  • Antineoplastic Effect, affects rapidly dividing cancer cells, which is why vinca alkaloids like vindesine are effective in cancer treatment.
