| 1952 | Company’s foundation by Mr. Claude Dufour in the western suburb of Paris (Boulogne under the name of «Laboratoires du Bois de Boulogne» and renamed the company SEAC. |
| 1962 | SEAC moves its industrial operations to the current location near Lille in the North of France, known as Minakem Beuvry-la-Forêt since 2005. |
| 1974 | Construction of the Louvain-la-Neuve Site for Vinca Alkaloids production, owned by Ajinomoto Omnichem since 1989. |
| 1995 | Construction of the new Plant in Dunkirk by AstraZeneca. |
| 1998 | Louvain-la-Neuve site major upgrade to allow handling of highly actives and cytotoxic products under strict containment (OEB class 5). |
| 2005 | Minakem takes over the SEAC operations, with all assets related to custom synthesis, including R&D laboratories, pilot plant and manufacturing resources in Beuvry-la-Forêt. |
| 2009 | Minakem expands it reactor capacity by 150m3 by acquiring the Dunkirk plant. It also adds steroid manufacturing, micronization and injectable capabilities to its growing technology base. |
| 2015 | Minakem took over Ajinomoto’s business and site in order to expand Minakem’s expertise and offer range into high-potency active pharmaceutical ingredients (HAPIs) and develop pharma productions that require high-level containment facilities. |
| 2023 | Minakem has acquired the Delmar Chemicals Inc. site in Montreal, Canada to enlarge its generics APIs product portfolio and to have a manufacturing footprint in Americas. It adds corticosteroids production capacities as well for human and animal health. |
